“A veteran in the workshop scene, Arodipa has been teaching art for the past 3 years. She is a decorated artist herself. For 2 consecutive years she was amongst the top 3 at St Xavier’s college Art Exhibitions while attaining the top position for Pot Painting at Bhavanipur College. Furthermore, she is certified in the Fine Arts by Charukala Mandir, Kolkata.”

What do I want to teach?
“Get acquainted to different forms of paintings while learning diverse mediums (water color/oil color and fabric colors). Human figures will light up still-life paintings and together we will hone our craft.”

Required Workshop Materials: Drawing copy, Pencil,  Eraser, Sharpener, Scale, Drawing Board, Bowl, Water Colors, Palettes, Brushes (size -1,2,3,4,5,6 and one flat brush),  a Cloth, 1-2fruits/vegetables for still life, a Bunch of Flowers for still life (During scheduled days not everyday), Acrylic/Fabric Colors and Pencils for Sketching (HB,2B,4B,6B,8B)

Certificate of Completion will be provided at the end of the Workshop

What will be covered during the course of this workshop?

Day 1
Introduction to painting. Learning basics of the craft and how
to use various mediums of colour. Finally, we will indulge in
drawing landscapes

Day 2
Further learning about landscapes and how to colour them using water colors

Day 3
Learning to draw Still Life 1 (Fruits/Vegetables) using water colors

Day 4
Learning to draw Still Life 2 (Flowers) using water colors

Day 5
Doodling and how to make landscapes attractive by applying colouring

Day 6
Abstract Art

Day 7
Learning Human figures (Boy and girl) and  how to place them in scenes

Day 8
Learning human figures (man and woman) and how to place them in scenes

Day 9
Learn how to paint with acrylic/fabric colors


Day 10
Basics of Sketching/Oil painting
