Author: Manuka

Manuka is a singer/songwriter from Leeds, UK. Her influences have come from years of growing up around Indian classical music, bhangra, folk, and 90's pop music. With these influences, she creates her own genre 'Folk India'. "Every time I write a song, I zone out with my guitar and get lost in my thoughts. Sometimes it springs up unexpectedly and I get inspired by experiences and people that stay with me. My music is raw and organic, it flows and grows with emotion, so I stay an open book and absorb anything and I write to release and express."
