Author: Lauren Clark

I am a poet who likes to write about controversial issues that people should be talking about but don’t, such as sexual violence, violence against women, poverty, addiction and mental health. My inspiration comes from expressing my own personal experiences and also using those experiences to empathise with other’s bad experiences, and get those heard. I also write poetry which may have no particular subject matter. It is just formed from free-flowing thoughts about whatever inspires me at that time.
