Art influences the life of an artist. An artist explores his imaginations and depicts it in the art form he adopts as his own. I was not born an artist and neither am I an art student. But painting and music have always been integral parts of my life which have helped me express my philosophy through my work. The importance of painting is more than mere passion to me. I express my ideas, perceptions, philosophy and the view of life through my art. I may be a student of the sciences, but science has never inspired me to do anything in the way that art has. My work mostly consists of acrylic and oil-based art on canvas and acid-free paper. I try to use the ancient Indian 'Pattachitra ' style of art in unison with modern contemporary art forms.
